ABOUT US:
Awesome Bunnies Childcare is dedicated to catering to children aged 6 weeks to 5 years old.
At Awesome Bunnies we strive to help all our children grow beyond their potential. With the support of our wonderful teachers, students will reach and surpass all of their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical milestones through an array of different materials, manipulatives, and innovative teacher implementations and techniques.
Students will learn through a Creative Curriculum which is a
New York State approved curriuculum where the children learn actively by doing and experiencing rather than just passively being taught and listening.
Our children's curiosity will be satisfied by taking part in many exciting and fun experiences. Children will functionally play in different learning centers that will help foster their creativity, spontaneity, and inner inquisitiveness. They will experiment, invent, experience, learn by trial and error, and ultimately master each personal and educational goal. Students will learn through individual as well as small and whole group instruction. Letters, numbers, shapes, colors, math, literacy, and science will all be explored in structured implementations on an every day basis.
There are FIVE main goals of the Creative Curriculum and our teachers will honor each goal on an everyday basis when lesson planning and while setting classroom objectives:
1. Positive interactions and relationships between child and teacher provide a critical foundation for successful learning.
2. Promoting social–emotional competence as a significant factor in school success.
3. Providing opportunities for constructive, purposeful play that supports essential learning.
4. Maintinaing a physical environment that will optimally affect the type and quality of learning interactions.
5. Fostering teacher–family partnerships that promote development and learning.
At Awesome Bunnies Childcare we set the tone to make everyone feel that they are part of one big family. Communication with parents is of a great deal of importance to us. Monthly theme days, family-invited classroom parties, newsletters, a private photosharing site, and our friendly atmosphere will make everyone feel welcome to our school.
Child Safety
Your child's safety is of the utmost of importance to us at
Awesome Bunnies Childcare. When you drop your child off in the morning our goal is to make you feel at ease knowing that your child will be in safe hands and will be treated with nothing but love and care all day long. No one can take the place of a parent, but we will do our best when your child is in our attendance.
We have installed safety cameras in every room and follow a strict policy about allowing visitors to enter our school. Individuals have to be buzzed into our school and all children must be signed in and out every day. We conduct monthly safety drills, practice all policies set forth in Article 47 of the New York State Health Code, and we always maintain and clean and healthy environment.

Awesome Bunnies Childcare employs a highly qualified staff. Not only does each teacher have the necessary educational and state certifications for the rooms that they teach in, but they each offer something special- their hardwork and loyal dedication to their children and their families.
We hire loving and geniune individuals who have a real passion for early childhood education. Our teachers are commited to providing the highest level of education and care to each and every child that enters our school.
